A buyer asks ChatGPT for the best tools in your category. It names three competitors, and you never hear about the lost deal.
Nobody on your team can say how often AI names you, or on which questions. So there's no way to tell if anything is working.
Your robots.txt may block them. Or key content and schema (the code that labels facts for machines) only appear after JavaScript runs, and most AI crawlers skip JavaScript.
You got a long list of recommendations. Months later, nothing has shipped, because your agency can't build and your developers are busy.
We run the real questions your buyers ask through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, several passes each, and check Google AI Overviews on your key searches. You get your citation rate and how often each competitor gets named.
We make sure AI crawlers (OpenAI's OAI-SearchBot and GPTBot, Anthropic's ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot) can reach the pages you want seen, through your robots.txt rules and sitemap.
We move your key facts into the raw HTML the server sends, so crawlers that skip JavaScript still see them. We also clean up duplicate schema, so every page tells one clear story about who you are.
We write pages whose first lines answer the buyer's question in a way an AI can quote, starting where a competitor gets named and you don't.
AI answers often cite review sites, directories and articles. We find the sources that show up for your prompts and build a plan to get your company into them.
We re-run the same prompts every month and report the rate with the full count behind it. Visits from AI tools show up in your GA4.
AI agents built on Claude Code handle the prompt runs, crawls and checks. Senior people review and ship every change.
We agree on the buyer questions that matter, then run them across four AI engines, several times each. You get a dated baseline: where you're named, where you're missing, and who wins instead.
We read your site the way an AI crawler does: raw HTML, robots.txt, sitemap and schema. We match every gap to a prompt you're losing, so the fix list is ranked by what it could win.
Our own designers, developers and writers build the fixes in Webflow or WordPress. First work ships in 14 days.
Same prompts, same engines, every month. You see the rate move, or stay flat, and we adjust the plan to match.
We ran 64 buyer prompts through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, three passes each: 768 answers. The company was named in 76% of prompt-engine checks. Its two biggest competitors were named 26% to 29% more often. And on three prompts about AI tools for property managers, no engine named it at all, even though AI is a feature it sells. The client now has a ranked fix list to work from.
We set a tracked baseline: the firm was cited on 15 of 33 buyer prompts (45.5%). Then we ranked the crawler and schema fixes by impact. Every fix gets measured against that number.
Our robots.txt lets AI crawlers like GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot in on purpose, and blocks Bytespider, ByteDance's scraper. We test our own AI citations the same way we test yours.

AEO (answer engine optimization) is the work of getting your company named and cited in the answers AI tools give, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews. You'll also hear it called GEO (generative engine optimization) or LLM SEO. All three names describe the same goal: when a buyer asks an AI who to use, your company is in the answer.
SEO earns you a spot in Google's list of links. AEO earns you a mention inside the answer an AI writes. They share a foundation. Google says its AI features are rooted in its core Search ranking systems, so good SEO still does a lot of the work. AEO adds citation tracking across engines, checks for crawlers that skip JavaScript, and content written to be quoted, which is why we run it with our SEO services as one program.
ChatGPT has no ranked list to climb. It writes an answer, and when it searches the web it cites the pages it used. To get into those answers, let OpenAI's search crawler (OAI-SearchBot) reach your site, put key facts in the HTML your server sends, publish pages that answer buyer questions in the first lines, and get mentioned on the sites ChatGPT already cites for your topic.
L&S cannot guarantee a citation in ChatGPT. Nobody controls what an AI engine says, and the same question can get a different answer on the next run. What we can promise is measurement: a fixed set of buyer prompts, run across four engines, several passes each, re-run monthly and reported with the full count, so you always know your real rate.
We run your buyer prompts through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity with web search on, several passes per engine, and count how often each brand is named. You get your citation rate, your share against competitors, and the prompts where you're missing.
First work ships within 14 days. How fast AI answers change after that depends on the engine and on how often it re-crawls your pages, so we re-measure monthly and show you the trend.
It depends on four things: how many prompts and engines we track, how many pages need fixes, how much new content you need, and whether our developers build the fixes or your team does. Ongoing AEO with L&S starts at $4,500 per month, and your first call with Leo will scope the right size.
