The Three-Layer
Website Audit
Find what your site is hiding from search engines, AI assistants, and the people who were ready to buy.
This is the method we run on client sites, written so you can run it yourself with Search Console, Analytics, and a browser. By the end you have a ranked queue of fixes for your own site, in the order that moves your numbers fastest.
Twelve checks across search, AI visibility, and conversion
The five prompts to run on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and AI Mode
A scoring sheet that turns forty findings into one ranked queue

PDF plus the tracking workbook, free
Twenty-two pages,
written to be used
Every check is one you can run yourself, today, with tools you already have. No scores out of 100. No forty-item list with no order.
The five AI prompts: and how to score yourself out of three on each
The AI crawler table: what blocking each bot actually costs you
The scoring method: impact, confidence, effort, then sort
The tracking workbook: three tabs: AI baseline, scoreboard, change log

Your site is read by three different audiences
They want different things, and a site can pass one layer while failing the others completely. Plenty of companies rank well and convert almost none of it. Plenty of others convert beautifully and no AI assistant has ever heard of them.
Search engines
They want to understand what each page is about and whether it deserves to rank. They read structure, links, and language.
AI assistants
They want a clean, quotable answer they can lift and attribute. They read passages, not pages.
Real buyers
They want to work out in about eight seconds whether you solve their problem, then find the fastest route to talking to you.
What you walk away with
A ranked queue, not a list. Every finding scored on impact, confidence, and effort, sorted so the top item is the one to do first.
Your AI visibility baseline. A score out of twenty across four platforms, dated, so next month means something.
Prescriptions your team can ship. Not "improve the meta descriptions" but the exact page, the exact new wording, and the expected effect.
Honest timelines. What moves in two weeks, what takes two quarters, and what nobody can promise you.
Before you download it
Set aside a few hours for the first pass. The AI layer is the slowest part because you are running twenty prompts by hand. After the baseline exists, the monthly re-run takes under an hour.
No. Google Search Console, Google Analytics, the free tiers of the AI assistants, your robots.txt, and a phone. If you already pay for a rank tracker or an AI tool, it helps, but nothing here depends on it.
Yes. The examples are B2B SaaS because that is most of our work, but the three layers apply to any site with commercial pages. Services, ecommerce, and marketplaces all run the same checks.
The crawler table reflects how the bots behave today, and we revise it as the platforms change. The discipline is about two years old, so treat anyone selling you a decade of expertise in it with suspicion.
Yes, that is what we do. Book a 30 minute discovery call and we will tell you honestly what to look at first and how we would help. If we are not the right people, we will say so on the call. Or learn more about our CRO services.
We run this method for a living
L&S Creative Agency works as an embedded web department for B2B companies. Search, conversion, and AI visibility on the same site, by the same team, which is why the three layers are in one playbook instead of three.
The honest pitch: the method is not secret and it is not the hard part. Running it every month, and shipping the queue, is.
I have personally implemented this process into our most recent clients and we have been able to quickly see an uptake in coversions and overall brand visibility within weeks.
If you are using any AI tools to run this audit, make sure to put time aside to do a full-human check. AI is great, but there are a lot of bugs that you can verify if you take a few minutes to check it yourself.
I hope this is as helpful for you, as it has been for us!
